Dr. Kyle Bilquist

“While practicing as a freshman football player at Toms River High School South, I tackled a player and threw my back out. I could barely walk, and after being in pain for close to a month, I was worried I would never be the same. Thankfully, my parents took me to a local chiropractor, an experience that has shaped my entire life. After a couple visits I was as good as new and from that point on I knew I wanted to help others the same way this doctor helped me. This was my first experience with chiropractic and I was hooked. Throughout my athletic career, I utilized chiropractic to keep me healthy and alert. I loved the competitive edge chiropractic gave me and so I decided to pursue my new passion.”

From Interest to Specialty

“At chiropractic school I learned how to play Rugby and immediately fell in love with the sport. At the time I couldn’t understand why our team had so few injuries while other teams had 40% of their team sidelined. I realized fast that chiropractic care was the answer. During this time I was also introduced to a technique system called Integrative Diagnosis. This would become my passion and specialty. This specialty works to increase the range of motion of a joint, allowing for increased flexibility, and decreased pain. As I delved further into this practice I gained insight on how this technique was not only helping athletes but was helping people with chronic pain to gain mobility and regain health. Forget about a competitive edge over my opponents, I could now change lives and was excited to get started. Fast forward several years later and I’m now one of only two chiropractors in NJ with full body certification in the Integrative Diagnosis protocol.”

A Passion for Chronic Pain and Improved Mobility

Integrative Diagnosis Practitioners focus on the most common and most under-diagnosed pathology in the musculoskeletal system, adhesion. Adhesion is a scar tissue buildup in the muscles and ligaments of your body that most commonly occurs through overuse. If you have decreased flexibility and pain during movement then adhesion is likely the culprit. Click here for a more in-depth picture.
